All agencies are encouraged to use the on-line ePlan tool to develop, submit and maintain their EEO Management Plans. The tool provides exemplar strategies and initiatives consistent with the Outcome Standards Framework. Using the ePlan tool, agencies can:
Equity and Diversity Plan Objectives Public Sector agencies employing more than 50 staff are required to indicate their agencies intended contribution by 2007 and 2009 to the achievement of whole of sector objectives established under the Equity and Diversity Plan for the Public Sector Workforce 2006-2009. This information should be submitted by 25 August 2006. Agency Objectives can be submitted in one of the following four ways:
There are two parts to the process of setting your agency’s EEO objectives. As well as foreshadowing diversity group representation (numbers), larger agencies are required to look at the distribution of diversity group members across the organisation’s salary levels (equity index).
