EEO yearly report (WACA) In previous years, the Human Resources Minimum Obligatory Information Requirements (HR MOIR) website administered by the Public Sector Management Division of the Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC), has been used to collect the data. From July 2008, the DPC will require you to enter your EEO Diversity data through the national Workforce Analysis and Comparative Application (WACA) system. Your HRM team will already be familiar with the system from entering quarterly HR MOIR reports during 2007-08. Previously, the HR MOIR system allowed for diversity data to be entered in aggregate form. The revised HR MOIR report requires all public sector agencies and authorities to provide information on the diversity status of an individual. Diversity QuestionnaireAgencies should ensure they resurvey their staff using the recommended diversity questionnaire produced by the Office of Equal Employment Opportunity Please note that the revised recommended survey includes a field for entering an employee identification number. This should be the same identification number used for your HR MOIR report. Agencies should also aim to have complete responses for all diversity related fields in the HR MOIR report. Instructions for using the system and the definitions for entering the data are available from: http://www.dpc.wa.gov.au/PSMD/WorkforcePlanning/Pages/WorkforceInformationSystem.aspx. Officers responsible for entering HR MOIR reports through the WACA system should already have their agency/department identifiers and logon details. If this is not the case, please send a request to Dan Midalia at the following email address: dan.midalia@dpc.wa.gov.au. |
